If you’re looking for cool and quirky gift ideas for Pride, you’re in the right place. In this article, you’ll find 30 unique ideas that make perfect pride gifts for friends, family, or partners.
Who doesn’t love rainbows? They are one of nature’s most magical phenomena. Their plethora of colours reminds us that with every cloud, there’s a silver (or multi-coloured) lining.
When you think of rainbows, it’s impossible not to think about the LGBTQ community. And as an out and proud lesbian, I’m pretty smug that we’ve asserted the rainbow as our symbol.
The history of how the rainbow became the international symbol for LGBTQ rights goes back to 1978. When Gilbert Barker, an artist and openly gay man, decided we needed a flag to represent our visibility.
He believed the various colours of the rainbow reflect our community’s diversity and unity. And today, rainbow flags can be seen flying proudly at Pride events all around the world.
So naturally, when compiling a lot of gifts for pride month, we went all out on the rainbow theme! So on that note, let’s get to it. Here are 30 unique ideas that make perfect gifts for Pride.

Rainbow Pride Gift Ideas
1. Neon Light
I’ve written a few gift guides recently, and this rainbow neon light has been a best-seller.
It’s not too difficult to see why. It’s a cool and quirky design that adds a gorgeous ambience to any room of the house.
It can be hung on the wall or placed on a table powered by batteries or using a USB adapter.
2. Rainbow Sunglasses
Know someone who’s looking to jazz up their pride outfit this year? I have the perfect accessory for you.
Rainbow sunglasses are unique and trendy and make for the perfect pride accessory.
But, of course, they’re not just for Pride. These bad boys can be worn by anyone, anywhere, anytime.
3. Rainbow Roses
While flowers always seem like an obvious gift idea, it’s not when you choose something unique like these remarkable rainbow roses.
I remember when Natalie sent these to my office for a Valentine’s gift. They weren’t so popular at the time, and I was blown away. As was everybody I worked with.
So if you’re looking for a thoughtful Pride gift idea, these are a winning option.
4. Rainbow Button-Up
You can’t beat a loud and proud shirt. My wardrobe is overflowing with them.
One I’m yet to get my hands on, however, is a rainbow print shirt. I especially like these designs as they are suitable for everyone and all occasions.
The typical rainbow colours can be a little overpowering and in your face. But these are just the right amount of vibrant.
5. Felt Letter Board
Felt like buying a rainbow-themed Pride gift for your loved one this year? (sorry, I couldn’t help myself)
If you know someone who easily forgets things or likes to leave little notes or manifestations, this fun and quirky felt letter board is perfect for any occasion.
Who else needs one of these in their life? That makes all of us then.
PinkCupid dating app for queer women
PinkCupid is a safe and inclusive space where you can connect with thousands of lesbian singles to find their match from all over the world.
You can create your profile for free and join a community of like-minded women looking for friendship, love and more.
6. Tie-Dye Clothing
Another gift idea for pride month is some trendy tie-dye clothing. Tie-dye is slightly more subtle than wearing bold rainbow colours but still stands out and makes a statement.
You’ll find that many brands implement tie-dye into their annual pride collections—for example, this sweater by Abercrombie and Fitch.
Please support brands that are dedicated allies to the LGBTQ+ community and not just rainbow-washing for Pride month. Here’s a list of brands that support the community all year round!
7. Rainbow Vodka by Crystal Head
Raise a glass to any occasion with this appealing rainbow themed-vodka by Crystal Head.
Crystal Head are one of my favourite vodka brands. Simply because their bottles look so good.
My advice is to keep hold of the bottle once it’s empty. If you pop some fairy lights inside, it makes for an extremely cool lamp.

8. Rainbow Socks
Let’s face it; nobody buys socks for themselves anymore. Socks are up there with fragrances as items that you can only have when someone gifts them to you.
So if you’re stuck for pride gift ideas for your rainbow-loving friend or relative, I’m sure they will appreciate some rainbow-themed socks.
9. Rainbow Bucket Hat
The classic bucket hat has, in recent years, become a must-have summer accessory.
They not only bring an effortlessly cool vibe to any outfit, but their wide brim is great for keeping the sun off your face.
I particularly love this cute rainbow design on Etsy.
10. Rainbow Baked Goods
What if I told you that you could literally gift the taste of a rainbow?
Well, that’s precisely what you can do with these extraordinary rainbow creations.
Speak with your local bakery or cake-maker about designing your rainbow-themed Pride gift. Or there are bonus points if you make them yourself.
11. Rainbow Print
We all know somebody that has rainbows dotted all over their home. And it just so happens that I have the perfect Pride gift idea just for them.
These charming rainbow prints from Etsy make the perfect additions for nurseries, bathrooms, conservatories, or any room of the house, in fact.
12. Rainbow Bag
Another accessory that can bring a pop of colour to any outfit is, of course, a rainbow-themed bag. Depending on the occasion, the bag can be as flamboyant or as subtle as you like.
For example, this vibrant design will complement an all-black or grey outfit perfectly. On the other hand, this rainbow tote design makes for an ideal shopping or beach bag.
13. Rainbow Phone Case
We continue our list of pride gift ideas with a rainbow or pride-themed phone case. If your giftee isn’t into over-the-top rainbows, you can’t go wrong with these slick and trendy designs on Etsy.
14. Rainbow Cushion
Another idea for a homeware Pride gift is a rainbow cushion. (These also make great gifts for campervan owners if you know any).
Again, you can go all out festive with the bold rainbow colours. Or you can reign it in with some soft and subtle designs.
Either way, Etsy have a vast range of jaw-dropping designs to choose from. You could also pair it with a rainbow throw.
15. PJs & Slippers
Because who doesn’t love a comfy pair of pj’s and slippers? Even more so when they are emblazoned with rainbows.
And let’s face it, Pride outfits needn’t be limited to festivals and parades. We like to showcase our Pride all year round, 24hrs a day!
16. Rainbow Crocs
I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I am beyond obsessed with these rainbow marble Crocs!
Honestly, I’ve never been a fan of Crocs and would often ridicule any of my friends who wore them.
But, I surrender. You’ve officially won me over Crocs. Now, who’s going to buy me them as a Pride gift?
17. Rainbow Jewellery
If you want to gift a loved one something memorable, you can’t go wrong with jewellery.
If you’re lucky, a piece of jewellery can last a lifetime. And depending on the piece itself, they’re often symbolic and a reminder that you are special to that person.
With that in mind, a sentimental gift idea for a rainbow enthusiast is jewellery of some kind. I love these hand-made pieces on Etsy, but there’s no limit to the choices on offer.
18. Macrame Wall Hanger
One of my favourite rainbow pride gift ideas on this list is these macrame rainbow wall hangers. Macrame is an age-old crafting practice that uses knots to create various fabric items such as table runners, plant hangers, and dream catchers.
Available in a number of whimsical designs, macrame wall hangers make for the perfect accessory in any room. We’ve also got a mini one hanging in our camper van.
19. Welcome Mat
Is there anything more welcoming than a rainbow doormat?
Not only are they great for brightening up any front door, but they suggest a home that’s warm, cosy, and full of love.
Like most things on this list, there’s a variety of designs and styles depending on your taste.

Rewind 5 years, and it wasn’t easy to find trendy rainbow apparel. These days, countless brands are launching their own collections of pride clothing.

Some of our favourite LGBTQ+-friendly brands are Levi’s, Vans, Bohemia Organic, Rainbow Certified and TomboyX.
21. Pride Gift Box
The perfect pride gift doesn’t exis…. Oh, wait.
OK, if you really want to be a hit with your loved one this Pride, gift them their own Pride gift box.
You could make your own (using some of the rainbow gifts on this list), or you can buy one ready-made like this one from Etsy.
22. Pride Stickers & Pins
Pride gifts needn’t be expensive. Honestly, it’s all about the sentiment. Just the fact that you’re thinking about your loved one at Pride will mean the world to them. If you want to gift something as a small gesture, these adorable pride stickers & pins are just the ticket.
23. Pride Flag
It wouldn’t be a list of the best rainbow gifts for Pride without mentioning the Pride flag. As I mentioned earlier, the rainbow flag is symbolic of the LGBTQ community. It represents inclusivity and diversity and serves as a reminder of those who paved the way for us. As such, every queer person should have a Pride flag in their life.
The original Pride flag is the simple red-to-purple rainbow that you’re all familiar with. However, there’s a new flag in town, with additional colours and shapes representing POC and the trans community. This new flag is called the ‘Progress Flag’. And if you’re gifting a pride flag this year, I recommend that it be this one.
24. The Queer Agenda Card Game
Know someone that likes to play boozy games with their friends? Then I have the ideal pride gift for you. The Queer Agenda is the ultimate LGBTQ party game. It’s very similar to Cards of Humanity but with a queer and exciting twist. With a mix of sassy, daring, and downright outrageous cards, it’s sure to bring some laughs to any upcoming party.
