Our Experience Using the Bluetti EB3A

The first thing I noticed about the Bluetti EB3A is how compact and lightweight it is. At 25cm (L) x 18cm (W) x 18cm (D) and weighing just 4.6kg, it’s far easier to handle and transport than other models I’ve previously tried.

I also really like the appearance of the product. It’s a practical layout and is easy to navigate, while the vibrant LCD display gives it an attractive and modern feel.

Another feature that really impressed me is its ultra-fast charging capabilities. This little powerhouse charges from 0-80% in just over 40 minutes using the AC charging cable, with a full recharge taking 1.5 hours.

Usually, I never recommend buying a power station like the EB3A without a solar panel since finding an AC power outlet to charge is not always practical. However, since this model is lightweight and charges quickly, it can easily be done while visiting a cafe or restaurant.

We can power our entire office set up using the Bluetti EB3A Power Station

We have also been satisfied with how many of our electrical items we can power using the EB3A unit. We’ve used it to charge our phones, laptops, camera, and drone and also to power low-wattage items like our WiFi router, blender, and hair straighteners.

Then there’s the price point. At the time of writing, the Bluetti EB3A model retails for just £269 in the UK, which is highly competitive compared to other brands.

It gets significantly more expensive if you wish to buy a solar panel with it, but I don’t believe it is necessary for the average user.

Finally, our Bluetti power station is the perfect addition to our campervan electrical system. It allows us to take pressure off our leisure batteries and acts as a backup in off-grid situations.

For example, when our campervan solar panels don’t generate much charge on cloudy days, we have our Bluetti EB3A to help share the load.

To help you understand the capabilities of the Bluetti EB3A Power Station, I wanted to share some examples of what items we’ve used it for.

This should help you understand what sort of appliances you can power using this model and how long you can expect it to last before needing to be charged.

Remember, the EB3A model has a 600W AC Pure Sine Wave Inverter, so you can only power 600 Watts or lower electrical items.

If you want to power appliances rated higher than 600 watts, you may consider the Bluetti EB70 or AC200P models instead.
